Read the X-VIP Q & A with the lovely Dia...

1. Congratulations on being The New Year's X-Diva! What has your experience as part of the Avenue-X community been like?
Thank you Biggie! Since I have joined the Avenue-X community I have met some fun and friendly people. I’ve made a few friends and have one great PM buddy. I think I might stay a while longer

2. Tell us about your first encounter - was it what you expected it to be? Were you nervous? Surprised?
It was like my first night as an exotic dancer when I waited until the end of the song to strip! My first encounter was nothing like I expected it to be and I was pleasantly surprised that the date went so well. I was very nervous and when I feel that way, I tend to stutter and put my foot in my mouth. I can make an absolute fool out of myself. I still hope I didn’t say something totally off the wall that evening.

3. You defined yourself as a mature courtesan. How does this shape the session you provide?
I am more comfortable with myself than I have been in years and I think that enables me to be more accepting of other people and their needs. I seem to have a better understanding of people than I used to have. I believe that this helps me in a lot of ways. My goal is to provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere that is not rushed. I would like for my dates to leave with a warm fuzzy feeling whether they see me again or not.

4. Does being a mature courtesan imply that you also prefer mature gentleman?
If you are talking about a mature attitude then the answer is yes. If you are talking about age, I prefer the men I date to be over the age of 32. I have found that a lot of men under the age of 32 don’t have an understanding of women.

5. Do you have a memorable encounter that you would like to share with us? One that highlights the things you enjoy about meeting gentlemen?
Hum, I don’t think I can come up with just one memorable encounter because I have been very lucky in meeting some very interesting gentlemen. I love responsive men who arrive smiling and who are enthusiastic. The thing with you men is that you all are wonderful in your own way. (I am not pulling your leg either). I have found each man to have a special way about him that makes me glad that I had the chance to be in his company. There was one gent who was as nervous as a dog with fleas so I asked him if he would like to jump on the furniture… we did!

6. You've told me of your love for playing Classical Piano. How did you get started in this?
This is the easiest question to answer. A piano was purchased by my paternal grandmother when I was born with the idea that I would learn to play piano and take Ballet lessons. At age 8 I was sent to my first piano lesson and it was determined that I would train in Classical music. For the next 9 nine years I spent every Saturday by my teacher’s side. Little did I know that I was being groomed to be a Lady… what in the heck happed to that? lol

7. Since you’re based out in Roanoke, do I have to drive there to see you, or do you plan to tour in the future?
You are more than welcome to drive down my way but I don’t advise it because one gentleman drove down and was too tired to drive back home. I am planning to tour a bit more this year - weather and pets permitting. I don’t mind driving two hours to meet a date but I would ask that our time together be for two hours or longer.

8. Many of the gentlemen comment on how delightful you are and your sense of humor is well known. How is it that you remain so positive all the time?
It takes thought and practice and I firmly believe in doing unto others as I would like them to do unto me. I like to laugh and I love to hear other’s laugh. It is good for the soul. I believe that attitude is everything and my attitude has improved with each new stage in my life. I try to stay positive for my own good. Life includes a lot of ups and downs so when you get kicked in the head by some of the downs you have a choice. You can either pick yourself up and keep going while you try to find the hidden lesson or you can lay there and wallow in it (which accomplishes nothing). I had an old country grandmother who didn’t have a pot to pee and who saw some sad things around her. Her lesson to me was, “Count your blessings and not your have nots.” Once I told her that I didn’t have any blessings to count and she lovingly told me that I ate when others did not, I slept in a bed while other’s slept on the earth. I caught on. Each night I go to sleep thanking the creator for my blessings and try very hard not to mention the “have nots”. Do I ever get upset? You are dang gone tootin’ I do. Do I get down? Yep, I sure can but I start thinking, “What can I do to change the way I feel about this situation?”

9. Now be honest...is it true what they say? That once you go hillbilly you never go back?!?
Yes it is true. Just come on down and find out.

Thanks Dia!
